Dr. Eileen M. Weitzel
Dr. Eileen Weitzel is a native of NY State and is a licensed optometrist specializing in contact lens care and women's vision health. She received an AAS degree in Ophthalmic Dispensing from Erie College, Buffalo, NY, in 1982 and then was selected to intern at the Kellogg Eye Institute in Ann Arbor, MI, from 1982-1983 to receive a fellowship award in Ophthalmology. After her fellowship, she eared her BA degree in Biology from the University of NC at Charlotte and then both a BS degree in Visual Science and Doctorate of Optometry in 1989 from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois.
She has been in private practice in both Greenville and Goldsboro since 1999. Her primary focus is women's health as it relates to medical health conditions. Conditions, such as dry eye, may be due to menopause, birth control medication or allergy medications and certain conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis or breast cancer treatments may have a negative impact on the eye and vision.
Dr. Weitzel has actively participated in the Gift of Sight mission trips to help underprivileged people receive quality eye care. She has gone to Haiti, Bolivia, Ecuador and Honduras. She also volunteers locally for vision van missions sponsored by the Lion's Club. She is a member of the Coastal District Optometric Association, the Greater Greenville Women's Society and St. Peter's Catholic Church. She resides in Winterville, is married, and has three teenage daughters.

Dr. Erica S. Morris
Dr. Erica Morris is a native of Ohio and holds a license to practice in both Ohio and NC. She completed her Doctorate of Optometry from the Ohio State University College of Optometry in 2002. She earned her BA and BS Degrees in Zoology at Miami University in 1998.
She has been in practice at 20/20 Vision Center in Greenville and Goldsboro since 2003. Her specialty is contact lens fitting, evaluation, prescribing and customizing each fit for every patient. She enjoys the youthful pre-teens, the after cataract contact fittings and everything in between. Dr. Morris only uses the latest technology when it comes to contacts because they promote healthy eyes and compliant patients.
Dr. Morris has participated in the Gift of Sight mission trip to Mexico to help underprivileged people receive quality eye care. The 8 doctors who went on this mission examined nearly 20,000 people and prescribed donated glasses. She is an active member of the Coastal District Optometric Society, the NC State Optometric Society, the American Optometric Association and is a member of the PEO women's organization. She resides in Greenville with her husband, Jay Morris, Ph.D., and their one daughter.

Dr. Hillary Multari
Dr. Hillary Multari is a native of Northwest Pennsylvania and is licensed to practice optometry in NC, PA and OH. In 2002, She received a BS degree in Biology with a minor in Biochemistry from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. She then earned both a BS degree in Visual Science and Doctorate of Optometry in 2006 from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, PA. After graduation, she completed residency training, specializing in ocular disease, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Cleveland, OH.
After completing her residency, she practiced in an in-patient setting at multiple nursing facilities in Northeast Ohio. She has been in practice with 20/20 Vision Center in Goldsboro since 2009. Her primary focuses are ocular health conditions and contact lenses. She enjoys working with patients of all ages to promote comprehensive ocular well being.
Dr. Multari is a member of the North Carolina State Optometric Society and the American Optometric Association. She currently resides in Garner and is engaged to be married July 10, 2010. |
